How it works

From zero to auto-traded signals in five steps. Links marked Ad are affiliate links — they cost you nothing extra and sometimes get you a discount; we may earn a commission.

Step 1 — an exchange account

Stepgrid is spot only: you are buying and selling actual coins. Any exchange that lists them and works with Cornix will do; the system is most tested on Binance.

Step 2 — a sub-account for Stepgrid only

Open a sub-account on your exchange and move into it only the funds you set aside for Stepgrid. Every signal tells Cornix what share of the account to buy with, so the account must hold nothing else. Mixed with other bots, those shares would be taken from their funds too, and the reserve that buys the deep dips would be spent before it’s needed. Your exchange’s help pages explain how to create a sub-account and an API key for it (enable spot trading, never withdrawals).

Step 3 — connect Cornix

Connect the sub-account to Cornix. Join our Stepgrid channel with the invite link our bot sends you, then create a Signals Bot in Cornix that follows it. On the General tab: set a fallback amount (3 %, Percentage) and tick “Only use if not defined by group” — then each signal’s own amount is used. Leave every other Cornix setting at its default.

Step 4 — the free week

Seven days, no payment details, nothing to cancel. Use it to confirm the machinery works on your setup: signals arrive, your exchange accepts them, the buy orders land at the published prices, and a cycle sells when it reaches its target.

A week shows the plumbing works, nothing more. To really judge performance 1 – 3 months of continuous, uninterrupted operation are needed. That’s why we have a track record you can check for yourself.

FAQ

Why do you publish the cycles that went badly?

Because a record with them removed is fiction. The track record is generated by the same pipeline that posts the signals, and no cycle is ever deleted for its outcome. Most cycles are done within hours. The rare one that takes months is in there too, at the price it finally sold for, counted like any other.

Can a cycle lose money?

The system does not sell a cycle below its cost, so a completed cycle is a gain. The one thing to understand is a cycle that takes long: if a coin falls and stays down, the ladder is fully invested and that capital is tied up until the price recovers — not lost, but not earning either. It is uncommon — about 1 cycle in 80 runs past a month — and we have had a few. Our cycles in progress are published too, so you can see it for yourself.

Do I need Cornix?

Yes — the strategy is delivered through Cornix, and it is fully automatic. It trades the signals for you, around the clock, which is what makes your results match ours. It works with all the exchanges listed above and many more, and your exchange keys stay with you, with no withdrawal rights.

How do renewals work?

Choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 months — 10%, 15% and 20% off the longer terms. Three days before expiry the bot sends a fresh invoice; unpaid subscriptions get a 24-hour grace period, then channel access ends. Rejoin any time.
